  • Please get in touch by emailing me at meganolaughlintherapy@gmail.com. I will let you know if I have openings and if I do not, when I may have more openings coming up in my schedule. The next step is setting up a 20 minute, free consultation call where we can discuss what you’re looking for, my approach, and decide if we want to move forward and set up an intake appointment.

  • Feel free to get in touch and inquire about openings. My email is: meganolaughlintherapy@gmail.com. Please note that I run a part-time practice and openings and availability can vary.

  • I am an out-of-network provider for all insurance companies and can provide a monthly superbill for any possible reimbursement. It is important to check directly with your insurance company for information about your out-of-network benefits, which will depend on your specific insurance plan.

  • How much does therapy cost?

    Intake appointment: $200

    Regular 50 minute appointment: $175

I consider a person’s ability to pay for services and have a set number of reduced rate slots in my practice.

  • My practice is telehealth only. I use a secure Zoom platform for appointments, allowing you to attend our meetings in the privacy and comfort of your own home.

  • I work with individuals ages 18 or over.

  • I work part-time hours from Tuesday-Friday. I do not have evening or weekend availability. Available appointment slots will will depend on the specific times that have opened in my schedule.

  • The duration of therapy is determined by multiple factors, including your goals, the type of therapy we are doing, and the frequency of therapy sessions. For some, therapy may be a short-term solution and may last only a few months, while others may choose to stay in services for years. Treatment plans may also require adjustments along the way based on progress, level of motivation, and commitment to mental health. It's important to recognize that there is no set timeline for therapy, and the duration of treatment is tailored to each person's unique needs. I also believe there are certain circumstances where it can make sense for a person to be in therapy for multiple years, such as an extensive trauma history, particular life stressors, and a history of mental health challenges.

  • While I am a certified DBT provider and am on many recommendation lists for DBT therapy, I no longer provide DBT-specific therapy. Because I specialized in DBT for quite a few years, I provide supervision to DBT therapists and I often bring DBT concepts and skills into my individual work with clients. I also utilize ACT techniques, mindfulness approaches, and somatic techniques in therapy work. Because I pull from various modalities, I consider my approach to be eclectic, integrative, and personally tailored to who I am working with.

If you are looking for a full DBT program, which includes skills training group and phone coaching, there are some great DBT programs I can recommend including Wise Mind Therapy, Paradox Therapy, Green Lake Therapy Group, and Northwest DBT.

  • When you set an appointment time, I reserve that slot for you. I ask for 48-hour notice to cancel or request to change your appointment time or there will be a cancellation charge of $100. If I am able to reschedule your appointment for the same week then that fee is not charged. I cannot guarantee that I will have other appointment slots available. My client portal can provide appointment reminders if requested.
